Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology/ or any other branch of Life Science with at least 55% marks. Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests ICAR, CSIR, UGC-NET and GATE
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in working with plant Breeding/Genetics/Biochemistry/Physiology
• Research Associate I (RA-I)
• Essential Qualification: A Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology/ or a related discipline from a reputed University/Institution.
• Desirable Qualification: Proven track record of molecular biology, biotechnology techniques or genomic pipelines, supported by two (02) research papers as a First Author or Equal First Author research publications in SCI-indexed journals.

Salary/ Stipend

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): INR 37,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA
• Research Associate I (RA-I): INR 58,000/- Per Month + 18% HRA

Age Limit (as on date of interview)

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 28 years
• Research Associate I (RA-I): 40 years
• Age relaxation SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female as per GOI rules

General Information / Instructions

• Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• Project duration is for three years.
• Initial appointment for 1 year, extension based on performance.
• No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.

• Prepare application on plain paper with a photograph, including name, date of birth, permanent and correspondence address, names of father and mother, AADHAR number, telephone no. and e-mail address, details of education career (starting from high school or equivalent).

• Attach self-attested copies of all mark-sheets & certificates and details of any research or other experience.
